NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that Vigo County, Indiana acting by and through its Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the purchase of a 56,000 GVW Tandem Axle Dump Truck, Bed-Body for Tandem Axle Truck, Reversible Snow Plow and Hitch and a Spreader for the Vigo County Highway Department until Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. EST, at the office of the Vigo County Auditor, Timothy M. Seprodi, 131 Oak Street, Terre Haute, Indiana at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the office of the Vigo County Commissioners. A cover letter listing the Total Price and a completed execution of a non-collusion affidavit Must be included with your bid. Bid Forms and specifications may be obtained at the Office of Timothy M. Seprodi, Vigo County Auditor, upon request. Each bidder shall accompany his sealed bid with the proper bid security made payable to the Board of Commissioners of Vigo County as follows: Any person, firm or corporation who submits a bid and has a principal place of business in the State of Indiana Must submit a Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of their total bid. Any person who submits a bid and Does Not have a principal place of business in the State of Indiana Must file with their bid a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Money Order or Bond issued by a financial institution insured by an agency of the United States in the amount of ten percent (10%) of their total bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid on or after the date and time set for public opening. Any bidder may withdraw his bid after it has been deposited with the County Auditor, provided his request is in writing and before the date and time of opening. If a bid is submitted by a trust, the settler and beneficiary must be identified. The Board of Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities as procedure and to award the most reasonable and responsive bid.
